Hydrate your Skin for Summer

The David Deans Skincare Hyaluronic Acid will be the enemy of dry skin this summer!

Believe it or not but oily/ acne prone skins even with their over excessive sebum production and thicker outer layers can still be severely dehydrated therefore require water. Dry/ Ageing skin types usually have a thinner layer or less elasticity in the skin and require an oil.

Here’s an "old school" beauty therapist tip to see if your skin is dehydrated and in need of water – In front of a mirror, squeeze the apple of your cheek with two fingers. Pulling the skin gently into the centre. If you get an orange peel appearance, this will indicate that your skin could do with some water. However, if your skin is lacking oil it will usually appear dry, scaly and maybe rough to the touch.

The summer season can definitely dehydrate your skin, one product that will help combat that for you is David Deans Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) Serum. When applied topically it absorbs evenly and plumps your skin, feels lightweight and gives your skin a beautiful natural glow.
